Check Ups (inc. X-Rays)

The cheapest (and easiest) dental care is preventative care. Everyone knows good dental health means healthy teeth and gums….but does it? Dental health can be so much more – at Mersey Dental we look beyond just the teeth and gums and let your mouth tell us what may be going on in your body.

What to Expect

If you are new to our practice or it has been more than 2 years since you have seen a dentist for a check up (excluding emergency work), you will see a dentist to:

Routine check ups are no different, except, we may not take x-rays at every visit. Though our xrays are low radiation digital xrays, we take great care not to expose you to any unnecessary radiation. We also recommend these regular examinations to be with our hygienists, where you will see the hygienist for most of the appointment while a dentist will come in to do their own assessment. Two heads are better than one after all!
